Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at The Laurels of Salisbury. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our guests
  • Supervise the purchasing and preparation of food to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Manage kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, and scheduling
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests' choices and preferences
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans
Requirements
  • Experience as a Dietary Manager or in a similar role in an institutional setting
  • Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred or current enrollment in a certification course approved by the Dietary Managers Association
  • ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
