We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery Team at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Northfield, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to stable patients, adhering to hospital standards of care and core values.
  • Utilize expertise to place peripheral intravenous catheters in cephalic veins.
  • Perform physical exams, accurately counting vital signs and monitoring patient response to fluid therapy.
  • Administer subcutaneous fluids and operate intravenous fluid pumps, troubleshooting errors as needed.
  • Monitor patient response to fluid therapy, including signs of overload.
