Shop Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at E.R. Snell Contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and vehicles. Key responsibilities include ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. A strong attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for this role. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing routine diagnostic tests, identifying mechanical deficiencies, and maintaining inventory levels and cleanliness in the shop. Additionally, they will be expected to adhere to company safety policies and demonstrate teamwork that aligns with our company's goals and values.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Asphalt trucks and equipment
- Conduct inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes
- Complete diagnostic tests on trucks and equipment
- Identify and address mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Collaborate with the team to achieve company objectives
- Adhere to company safety protocols
- Hold a valid Clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
