**About the Role**
As a PACU Nurse, you will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from surgery. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential complications and develop strategies to prevent them.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged in the care process.
**Requirements**
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
* Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
* Must have critical care experience.
* Completion of TCAR within 6 months of hire.
* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
