About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide total nursing care for patients in the PACU, including assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, promoting health education and empowerment.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three (3) months experience in a PACU or critical care setting preferred.
