Key Responsibilities:


We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant to support our North America business as part of the Global Controllership Team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for consolidating financial results for North America, providing variance analytics, and building out account reconciliations and key processes post a new system go-live.

They will prepare financial reports to meet our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements, including the annual financial statements.

The Senior Accountant will own various aspects of financial, technical accounting, and financial reporting, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial processes across Supply Chain Finance, Treasury, RTR, and Tax functions.

We are looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:


Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports

Perform month-end close activities for certain corporate accounting functions

Perform monthly consolidation activities, including monitoring for appropriate intercompany activities and preparing monthly account reconciliations

Support external audit

Stay abreast of changes in technical accounting and reporting requirements

Support special projects as needed

Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment

Demonstrated ability to implement short and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and success

Requirements:


US GAAP and Financial Reporting

SAP/S4 Hana/Group Reporting

BPO service provider management

Knowledge of General accounting, Intercompany accounting, and Consolidation

Experience in management reporting and US GAAP financial statements

Working knowledge of using reporting technologies like Analysis for Office and Power BI

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Certified Public Accountant License, preferred

>3 years of relevant professional experience

Experience in public accounting or working with CPG or global, matrixed manufacturing organization is a plus

Hands on, collaborative, proactive, transparent, urgent, and able to deal with ambiguity

Strong understanding of US GAAP and reporting requirements, including internal controls and reporting skills

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities

Strong attention to detail

Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of work

Prioritization of workload while meeting deadlines

Team leadership and development skills with minimal direction

Proficient in PC Skills, particularly intermediate or higher Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to achieve results while enforcing controls and maintaining financial objectivity
