Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Wendy's restaurant team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, controlling costs, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Profitability: Manage sales goals versus budget and prior year, execute national and local marketing programs, and develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends and enhance sales.
  • Cost Control: Manage profit goals versus budget and prior year, monitor food, labor, and paper costs, and track waste levels.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, develop, and retain store management and crew, manage subordinate store management and crew employees, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Quality, Service, and Cleanliness: Achieve and maintain Sparkle certification, train and execute all food safety procedures, and monitor product quality during shift.
  • Training: Provide proper training and development in compliance with the Company's standards, conduct timely and quality store orientations, and utilize Crew Orientation and WE Learn Training system.
  • Operations: Ensure store compliance with Company operating policies and procedures, work with DM to establish store priorities, and develop and execute store plans.
  • Controls: Ensure execution of Company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment, and identify and resolve potential security issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge: Company's operating systems and procedures, Company's policies and procedures, P&L analysis and corrective measures, supervisory practices, planning and budgeting, interviewing practices, training and development practices, and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Work Environment

The General Manager must be able to stand for long periods without a break, and be able to travel to the bank, other restaurants, Area Office, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
