Surgical First Assistant

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Surgical First Assistant to join our Operating Room team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians and other providers to ensure quality care and appropriate documentation for surgical patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional leadership and support to health team members through excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Work effectively with the entire healthcare team, patients, and families to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in process improvement measures and contribute to the SCIP committee.
- Perform functions delineated under surgical services ARNP/Physician Assistant delineation of privileges.
- FL RN License
- At least 2 years of First Assist OR experience
- BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association
- Current PALS Certification through American Heart Association
- Current CSFA certification (through NBSTSA) or SA-C certification (through ABSA)
