As a Custodial Specialist, you will ensure that our residents' living spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and service. You will also be responsible for addressing resident inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and approachable.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-stocked cleaning cart with necessary supplies.
- Exhibit knowledge and respect for the rights and dignity of each resident in all interactions.
- Perform cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing) in assigned resident apartments and common areas daily, following facility protocols.
- Honor residents' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangements and personal items. Knock before entering resident areas and seek input on cleaning methods when appropriate.
- Safely dispose of trash and waste, adhering to precautions for any contaminated materials.
- Previous experience in residential, office, or hospitality cleaning preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions for cleaning products.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
