Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting each customer in a courteous and professional manner
  • Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottles, labeling of prescriptions, and resolving Third Party rejections
  • Operate a cash register, including cash transactions, checks, and charges, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Assist with inventory management, including maintaining in-stock levels, pulling outdated and damaged merchandise, and preparing for return
  • Participate in all required store operational meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy department
  • Support scheduling activities and complete all required training programs
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Licensure requirements vary by state
  • Ability to perform tasks such as customer service, operations, and inventory management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy environment
