Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist residents with their daily activities as specified in their care plans. This encompasses personal care, meal assistance, housekeeping, laundry support, behavioral management, social interaction, and activity organization.

We are looking for compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants and Home Health Aides (Care Managers) who are committed to providing daily nursing, living, and personal care services in accordance with established care protocols.

Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour, with a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus available.

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm, including alternating weekends
  • Part-time and per diem shifts may also be available, occasionally offering a $750 sign-on bonus. Interested candidates should indicate their availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as per their care plans
  • Maintain the safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity of all residents
  • Accompany residents to meals and social events
  • Ensure that all assigned residents are well-groomed, clean, safe, and properly nourished during shifts
  • Accurately document all services rendered to assigned residents during shifts
  • Promptly report any changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) credentials
  • Preferred experience and knowledge in working with older adults, especially in dementia care

Physical Requirements

  • This role involves standing, walking, sitting, and utilizing both fine and gross motor skills, including reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking, listening, and olfactory perception
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of loads up to 50 lbs is required. Physical tasks may include lifting and assisting residents, necessitating proper body mechanics.
