Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist Student, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality, motion-free images that aid in accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explain procedures to patients and educate them on what to expect.
  • Produce diagnostic images that meet quality standards.
  • Perform venipuncture and screen patients for contraindications to intravenous contrast infusion.
  • Process and network images, prepare equipment and supplies, and transport patients.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and maintain patient records.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and strive to improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a JCERT-approved Radiological Technology training program and have at least one year of clinical experience.
  • Effective communication and writing skills.
  • Current CPR certification or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
Physical Demands:

The ideal candidate will have the strength and stamina to perform prolonged walking and standing. They must be able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel. Additionally, they must have adequate vision to read, write, and evaluate medical images, and be able to hear and talk to converse with others.
