About the Job Overview:
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans, integrating nutrition assessment and counseling.
  • Implement evidence-based nutrition interventions, promoting healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize effectiveness.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and dietetics, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care.
  • Advocate for patients' nutritional needs, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives promoting nutrition education and health awareness.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program and completion of a dietetic internship program approved by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR).
  • Registration with the CDR required.
  • Licensure with the South Carolina Panel for Dietetic registration required.
  • Proven expertise in nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
