About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Delta Health Adult Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians to deliver exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to adult patients, including health maintenance and health screening.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and reviews of laboratory or radiologic studies to assess patients' medical, physical, psychological, and socio-economic status.
  • Formulate accurate and appropriate diagnoses based on elicited data and provide care with attention to safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Document all examination data, diagnostic impressions, and patient care activities in the medical record.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results and make necessary changes to the treatment plan.
  • Provide education to patients and families, assist physicians with procedures, and facilitate physician referrals.
Requirements
  • Current PA-C Certification with NCCPA.
  • 3 years' Family Medicine/Internal Medicine experience desired.
  • Current BLS certification required upon hire and maintained through the RQI process.
  • Prescriptive authority as demonstrated by DEA License.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Proficient in technologies, including personal computer, Athena EMR, Outlook email, and descriptive dictation for coding & billing purposes.
