The Breakers West Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role requires a warm and welcoming personality that aims to engage customers and deliver outstanding service. The primary responsibility of the Server is to take guest orders, process them efficiently, and deliver them with a smile. Upselling and explaining daily specials is also a key aspect of the job. Additionally, the Server maintains the cleanliness of the dining room and outside seating areas, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our guests.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a fine dining setting is preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and execute new skills
  • Basic math and computer skills required

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and positive demeanor
  • Take food and beverage orders and process them efficiently
  • Upsell and explain daily specials to guests
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and friendly manner
  • Ensure cleanliness of the dining room and outside seating areas
  • Stock food and beverage needs for the day and complete closing side work
  • Maintain cleanliness of salt and pepper shakers, sugar caddies, and back-of-the-house areas
  • Clean coffee urns and ice tea machines at the end of the day
