Cardiac Electrophysiology Registered Nurse

The Sigma Healthcare team is seeking a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join our dedicated staff.

Shift: 4 shifts of 10 hours, primarily during the day with occasional late-night and on-call responsibilities as required by unit needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic electrophysiology tests and interventions, including electrocardiograms, within a clinical environment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and monitor recordings throughout the process.
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of lab data, communicating any concerns to the attending physician or specialist.
  • Support physicians in the implementation of pacing devices and other permanent cardiac-related technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Current New York State Nursing License (NY OLNY)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Certifications Required:
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
