Job Title: Contract Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology Lab (Nursing)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Registered Nurse to join our team at Centstone. As a Contract Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting with electrophysiology studies, ablations, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and other related procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with electrophysiology studies, ablations, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and other related procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
  • Administer medications as needed and per protocol.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, care plans, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, or critical care preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • AHA BLS & AHA ACLS
  • 2 years of specialty experience in CL/EP required.
  • Procedural - Cath and EP.
  • MI, heart failure, unknown cardiac illness.
  • Impella, LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Arterial sheath removal, Arterial Blood Gases, Blood Product Administration, Chest Tubes, Biphasic Defibrillation, Art lines, Central Lines.
  • EPIC EMR System.
  • Floating is expected within line of service.
  • Expected to work every other weekend.
  • Expected to work every other holiday
