Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Analyze claims and determine their validity, using policy provisions, riders, waivers, operating procedures, and state regulations.
  2. Calculate benefits payable and interest due, ensuring claims are paid in a prompt and equitable manner.
  3. Prepare and submit tax forms, state notice forms, and state consent forms when applicable, providing superior customer service to claimants or their representatives.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
