This position is a W2 role and includes benefits.

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the designated warehouse location.

Shift: Overnight hours

Compensation: $21/hour

Position Summary:

Veo is looking for dedicated drivers to assist in maintaining our fleet of electric vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting scooters, swapping batteries, and redistributing them throughout the city. Additionally, drivers will conduct quality checks and perform minor repairs to ensure that the vehicles are safe and accessible for users.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member who enjoys outdoor work, is hands-on, and can operate independently throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Veo Tech app to complete shift tasks and achieve battery change targets
  • Drive the company vehicle to locate scooters and perform battery swaps
  • Redistribute scooters from areas of low demand to those with higher demand
  • Conduct basic repairs and quality inspections
  • Respond to on-demand requests for scooter retrieval
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Operations Manager

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Have access to a smartphone and be proficient with apps
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with local geography and street layouts
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Experience in warehouse operations, mechanical work, delivery, or related fields
