Job Summary

This position is responsible for collecting and documenting patients' current medication lists upon admission to Blessing Hospital. The successful candidate will gather information from various sources, including patient interviews, home medication lists, and pharmacy records. The goal is to ensure accurate and up-to-date medication information for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and document patients' current medication lists
  • Gather information from patient interviews, home medication lists, and pharmacy records
  • Verify and update medication lists as necessary
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to review and reconcile medication lists
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Pharmacy Technician Training Course
  • Computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Illinois registration as a Pharmacy Technician and certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or equivalent
