LPN Home Health Care Specialist

A skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their place of residence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Administer skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis
Implement the nursing care plan for each patient
Provide nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned
Teach and counsel patients and their families on nursing care needs and other related problems
Requirements:
Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
Minimum of one year of experience in nursing, preferred
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Working Environment:
The LPN will work indoors in Agency offices and patient homes, traveling to/from patient homes as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to perform physical activity, work for extended periods while standing, and lift heavy objects.
