About the Speech Language Pathologist - SLP Role

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Oakhurst, CA. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients with medically complex conditions regain their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide Speech Therapy services to patients under the guidelines established by each client location or service provider.
  2. Conduct screenings of patients to determine need for intervention/treatment, as requested by the client location or service provider.
  3. Evaluate patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and communicate findings to clients, patients, family, and other team members.
  4. Establish patient schedules in conjunction with other team members, and develop treatment plans by identifying needs, goals, and methods to achieve those goals.
  5. Implement and conduct treatment outlined in treatment plans, and monitor patient response to intervention, modifying treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements
  1. Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.
  3. Current state licensure or license eligible.
