**Job Summary:**

We are searching for a talented Coder II to join our team. As a Coder II, you will perform a variety of coding, code auditing, and education to ensure adherence to federal, state, and payor requirements and to optimize reimbursement.

**Responsibilities:**

* Under the general direction of the Team Leader of Coding Services, perform coding, code auditing, and education to ensure adherence to federal, state, and payor requirements and to optimize reimbursement.
* Completion of Coding Certificate or Degree through a CAHIIM accredited program, or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.
* A minimum of three (3) years related work experience with ICD-10 and CPT-4 is required.
* Physician and midlevel patient coding and advanced E/M experience required.
* In-depth knowledge of local medical review policies and national coverage determinations preferred.
* Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Apprentice (CCA) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required.

**Requirements:**

* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

**Pay Range:**

USD $40.78/Hr.
