Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Fabrication Estimating Department, overseeing a team of up to 12 employees
  • Develop and maintain estimating systems, standards, and procedures
  • Establish and maintain beneficial relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Compile and maintain estimating and technical proposal information databases
  • Oversee the review, analysis, and selection of major subcontractors and supplier quotes
  • Develop project-by-project bid strategies to win awards and meet company financial goals
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in fabrication, production, and estimating
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • BS degree or technical training
  • Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques
  • Understanding of construction, terminology, and contracts
