Job Overview:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is actively seeking dedicated Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become integral members of our anesthesia team.

Key Highlights for Qualified Candidates:
  • Experience in transplant procedures is advantageous.
  • The average case load consists of 5 cases between 7 PM and 11 PM, with 1 overnight shift. No obstetric or trauma cases are included.
  • Weekly schedule for the 8-member CRNA cardiac team includes:
    • Week 1: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, with a 3-day weekend off.
    • Week 2: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, with a 3-day weekend off.
    • Week 3: Nighthawk in-house from 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Sunday.
    • Week 4: Off, Monday to Sunday.
  • The anesthesia staffing model comprises 10 anesthesiologists and 25 CRNAs, covering 12 operating rooms, along with the EP Lab, Cath Lab, and endoscopy.
  • Clinicians will have the opportunity to enhance their diverse skill set while fulfilling case volume requirements for hospital privileges.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
  • Competitive compensation structure featuring a tiered base salary, in addition to $30,000 in specialty stipends (cardiac and nighthawk).
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $75,000 and relocation assistance available.
  • Total of 21 weeks away from practice. Includes 8 weeks of paid time off with no waiting period, plus 13 weeks off based on the rotation schedule.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and $2,500 for continuing medical education.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching starting at 3%, increasing with tenure.
  • Fully covered professional liability insurance, occurrence-based, with no tail coverage required.
