We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a Fund Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and monitor daily fund activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and review periodic bank and cash reconciliations, as well as post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in managing internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with other services departments to resolve errors or discrepancies, and work with internal clients to establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Ensure all processes are in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and escalate if necessary.
  • Participate in special client or internal projects as required, and assist in new business setup and conversions.
  • Identify and report any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines.
  • Initiate, propose, and implement improvements to enhance efficiencies and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Liaise with investment managers, auditors, and banks to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
