Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care
  • Perform patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs
  • Administer IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
  • Apply splints and provide wound care
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment
  • Perform EKGs and assist with documentation
  • Supply and stock medical equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • Medical Technician with IV Certification Basic Certification with FL, EMT or CMA License (hiring credential only)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
