Job Title: Radiology Practitioner Assistant

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Practitioner Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide radiological diagnostic and interventional services in a Fresenius Vascular Care facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and perform approved specialized imaging and surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Assist the physician with complex procedures and provide technical support as needed.
  • Review procedure schedules and assign tasks to be performed independently or with physician assistance.
  • Evaluate results of medical image procedures and provide technical reports to physicians for final interpretation.
  • Document procedure notes and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Technician program and licensed as a Radiology Technician by the Department of Health per state requirements.
  • Completion of the Radiology Practitioner Assistants' exam certified by the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA).
  • 4-6 years' related experience or a Master's degree with 6 years' experience; or a PhD with 3 years' experience.
  • Must maintain current and active ACLS certification.
Working Conditions:

The Radiology Practitioner Assistant will work in a healthcare facility with moderate noise levels and may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. The position requires extensive mobility, some lifting, and the ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption.
