Orthopedic Sports Medicine Physician Practice Seeks Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to take X-rays of specific body parts, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports.
  • Input charges for X-Ray and Casting performed, as well as data entry and medical record scanning.
  • Assist clinical staff with ordering and resupply of medical and office supplies and equipment.
  • Perform and/or assist with clinical duties when time allows and/or when other duties are assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current state X-Ray Technology license.
  • One to three years of experience as an X-ray technician, preferably in an orthopedic practice environment.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
