As a part of our team, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring that patients receive the transportation services they require within our facility.



Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the healthcare facility.
  • Completes necessary documentation to track transportation assignments efficiently.
  • Assists departments with the replenishment of supplies and preparation for daily operations.
  • Responds promptly to all transportation requests from staff and patients.
  • Supports nursing personnel in the safe transfer of patients using carts, wheelchairs, or gurneys.
  • Ensures the return of all transport equipment to designated areas.
  • Locates and provides wheelchairs, IV poles, and gurneys as needed to maintain availability for nursing units.
  • Removes and properly disposes of broken equipment from patient areas.
  • Cleans transportation equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
  • Maintains cleanliness of wheelchairs, IV poles, carts, and gurneys during downtime or as directed by supervisors.


Qualifications:

Minimum:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED.
