Parent Education Specialist

The Early Learning Connections seeks a dedicated Parent Educator to deliver extensive support and home-based services to expectant mothers, infants, and toddlers.
This role involves conducting weekly home visits aimed at empowering caregivers to enhance their abilities as the primary educators of their children.
During these visits, the Parent Educator will offer guidance and resources concerning:
- Child development
- Educational activities
- Community resources
- Health and social services
Additionally, the Parent Educator will facilitate similar services in group settings, promoting networking among caregivers, preschool readiness for children, and opportunities for caregivers to demonstrate suitable social interactions.
The Parent Educator will collaborate with families to establish a structured Family Partnership Agreement, designed to identify specific needs and assist in formulating an actionable plan to address them.
Qualifications:
PAKEYS Level C - A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, Human Development, Social Work, Rehabilitative Science, Infant and Maternal Health, or a related field in social services.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, year-round.
