Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SYNC Residential. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, including performing repairs and preventive maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, and implementing procedures to maintain a safe environment and cultivate resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and correct any problems involving the property, implementing procedures to prevent such issues and maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitor completion of make-ready units and update written make-ready status boards as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct major air conditioning failures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform electrical repairs, including working with high voltage, and supervise outside contractors as needed.
  • Complete major plumbing repairs, carpentry, glass, and sheet rock repairs, or supervise outside contractors.
  • Monitor and record daily pool care, ensuring the pool is in proper chemical balance and the area is free of safety violations.
  • Keep an adequate inventory of needed supplies and complete monthly and quarterly reporting as required.
  • Maintain personal and property tool inventories in good condition and keep the shop neat, safe, and orderly.
Requirements:
  • EPA and CPO certifications are required.
  • A minimum of two years of multi-family maintenance experience.
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Basic communication in English is required.
