The Sterilizing Tech I reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes, and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment, and supplies according to prescribed procedures, following established infection control practices.
  • Completes requests to dispense supplies directly to the Operating Rooms and maintains department supply inventory.
  • This position is part-time, 48 hours per pay period, evening shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with alternating weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
