Position Summary: This role involves the execution of engaging recreational programs for individuals at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include overseeing group activities related to wellness and social skills, as well as assisting in tracking recovery progress towards established treatment objectives.
Employment Type/Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $17.09, Annual Salary: $35,547.20
- Full-Time Position with 8-hour shifts
- Work Schedule: Friday to Tuesday, 11 AM - 7 PM
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with two years of applicable experience substituting for formal education.
- A strong dedication to the well-being and safety of patients.
- A belief in the possibility of recovery for all individuals.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be prepared to undertake any job-related travel and possess a valid driver's license.
- Applicants will be required to undergo a physical examination, meeting the criteria of occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and exerting a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Griffin Memorial Hospital, located in Norman, Oklahoma, serves all 77 counties in the state as a treatment center for adults through the ODMHSAS. This facility is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing care for individuals aged 18 and over who are experiencing severe mental health challenges.
