Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard System Administration tasks, including managing server certificate lifecycles, monitoring virtual machine (VM) health, and updating software on VMs (both manually and via YUM repositories), ensuring compliance with the latest security protocols established by the enterprise.

• Oversee and manage production Linux VMs, including standalone VMs and those integrated within a Kubernetes cluster, across various hosting environments.

• Collaborate with clients and the development team to address product requirements, ranging from minor adjustments (e.g., VM name modifications) to substantial initiatives (e.g., new cluster deployments).

• Engage in DevOps activities, such as executing and maintaining Ansible playbooks for VM updates and monitoring Kubernetes clusters using Rancher or kubectl commands to ensure the health and performance of cluster nodes and pods.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in Linux, with strong troubleshooting capabilities.

• Familiarity with Ansible or similar automation tools.

• Experience in managing and securing virtual machines (STE/STN).

• Active Security+ Certification is mandatory for all infrastructure team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CentOS or RHEL.

• Knowledge of PKI Certificate/Server Certificate setup.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS).

• Exposure to OpenStack and VMware technologies.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent task execution.

• Proficient in Git for version control operations such as pushing, pulling, and committing changes to repositories.

Salary: $170,000 - $181,000
(Compensation begins at the lower end of the stated salary range, with potential for higher amounts based on the candidate's acceptance of reduced PTO, waiving healthcare benefits, or a combination of both.)
