Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs to patients with diverse diagnostic populations.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive programs using varied techniques and treatment activities
  • Review and modify treatment in response to changing patient needs
  • Identify equipment and discharge needs
  • Assist patients in preparation for treatment/modality as necessary
  • Provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations and complete supporting documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act
  • Communicate and collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist
  • Progress patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary by the Physical Therapist
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in patient care preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
