Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

This role is a critical member of the inventory team, responsible for ensuring accurate records and addressing discrepancies within the department. Key responsibilities include conducting weekly inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with management to ensure precise Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Traverse.

The ideal candidate will possess language skills, mathematical skills, and reasoning abilities, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. A certificate from college or technical school with 1-2 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly inventory counts and scrap removal of materials
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory count
  • Collaborate with management to ensure accurate BOMs in Traverse
  • Assist with annual BOM review
  • Develop fixes for inventory issues
  • Verify physical counts with system counts
  • Perform full physical inventory of all locations
  • Ensure proper bin location of materials in the warehouse

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Mathematical skills: ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Reasoning: ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
