Job Summary

The Providence RN Clinical Nursing and Quality Supervisor is a key member of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and education programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and satisfaction.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nursing and quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Completion of an ONS-approved Chemotherapy course and certification in Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, and Outpatient Transfusion.
  • Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification and experience in postpartum care.
  • 3 years of RN experience managing complex patients or successful completion of an RN Ambulatory Residency program.
  • Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff in an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting.
  • 3 years of experience providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training, and performance evaluation.
  • 3 years of experience providing patient education.
