About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Safety Officer to join our team at Lankenau Medical Center. As a Public Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to emergent situations and delicate patient matters using your professional judgment.
  • Conduct on and off-campus surveillance to maintain a safe environment.
  • Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or security/customer service-related field preferred.
  • Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record for the last ten years.
  • Certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).
