Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a technical resource, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and designing custom-engineered solutions for advanced equipment in various highly technical industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain expert subject matter knowledge through additional training and experience in areas such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Controls, Finite Element Analysis, Materials, and Welding.
  • Utilize engineering and physics principles to generate industrial machine designs.
  • Use 3D CAD systems to generate mechanical designs, create assemblies, and produce mechanical drawings.
  • Perform and interpret Finite Element Analysis using programs such as SolidWorks.
  • Use PLM and PDM systems to manage data and configuration.
  • Provide and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Troubleshoot and debug industrial mechanical systems.
  • Mentor Level I and Level II engineers as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 5 years' experience in engineering (PE Certification a plus).
  • Experience in machine design, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CATIA/SolidWorks.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $101,424 to $129,598 annually, depending on qualifications.
