The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room department. As a skilled nurse, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and treating patients in the Emergency Room setting.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current unrestricted Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one (1) year of inpatient clinical experience, preferably in the Emergency Room setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in the Emergency Room or Critical Care unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications a plus.
- De-escalation training and experience working with patients with behavioral health needs.
