Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator to join our team at UT Health Tyler. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise professional and other staff members assigned to the department, ensuring harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, ancillary departments, patients, and families.
  • Provide for the delivery of care to a specific group of patients and evaluate the quality of that care in a systematic fashion, with the goal of improving care.
  • Care is delivered within the framework of hospital philosophy and approved budget, in concert with other departments and services within and outside of the hospital.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least two years of recent experience in the nursing specialty.
