Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving revenue and fostering business growth. Your expertise in the music education sector will allow you to identify and engage potential clients, particularly music educators and fine arts stakeholders. You will build meaningful relationships, understand their unique needs, and leverage your product knowledge to address concerns and convert prospects into loyal customers.
Key Duties:- Identify and prioritize K-12 schools and districts with active music programs through market research.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to create a robust sales pipeline from prospective accounts.
- Engage with prospects via phone, email, meetings, and other communication methods.
- Conduct product demonstrations and make proactive visits to strategic target customers to drive sales.
- Educate potential clients about our products and their specific benefits.
- Handle objections and showcase the value of our offerings to prospects.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide accurate insights into pipeline performance to enhance revenue forecasting.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on new features and updates.
- Gather feedback from prospects to advocate for customer-centric changes.
- Effectively manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Ensure a smooth transition for paying customers to the Customer Success Team.
- 1-3 years of experience in a SaaS sales role.
- Background in the music SaaS industry or experience as a musician or music educator.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a focus on data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with MakeMusic Cloud (formerly SmartMusic).
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
Peaksware is dedicated to fair compensation practices. The salary range for this role is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position includes a performance-based variable compensation plan.
This role operates in a professional office environment equipped with standard office amenities. Employees are expected to adhere to safety policies and report any unsafe conditions.
Travel may be required up to 15% of the time for company events, meetings, and customer engagements.
Physical demands include regular sitting, moving about the facility, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
