Our Digital Solutions division is actively seeking a Principal Solutions Architect for Professional Services in Teamcenter. In this role, you will serve as the primary architect responsible for designing product lifecycle solutions and aiding clients in achieving their objectives within intricate projects and programs across our clientele.
This position demands exceptional interpersonal abilities, technical leadership, process enhancement expertise, as well as proficiency in Teamcenter PLM configuration and customization implementation.
As a trusted advisor, you will guide architectural design to resolve business challenges, ensuring that the technical integrity of the solution aligns with requirements and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
As part of the Professional Services team, you will collaborate with and lead Consultants, Product Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts, and Product Development teams to guarantee project and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend and illustrate how Siemens Government Technologies services will influence and integrate with clients' initiatives, business drivers, and overall impact.
- Utilize industry best practices and templates for the Siemens PLM Software solution to deliver customer value.
- Recognize clients' goals and objectives to pinpoint necessary change initiatives for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate project processes and progress by engaging with clients to manage expectations and foster customer adoption.
- Effectively interact with clients, Siemens sales teams, and project managers.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience (10+ years) in PLM.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing processes for product design and development.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing Teamcenter Solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of PLM software solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with common software development principles and lifecycle.
- Understanding of advanced processes within the software and system transitions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex issues to diverse audiences including company and government executives.
- Ability to effectively communicate progress, status, and challenges to both internal and external clients.
- Proven ability to achieve business goals and results.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in standard MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Ability to leverage external resources and knowledge in areas lacking direct experience.
- Solid understanding of Teamcenter configuration (BMIDE).
- Good knowledge of Teamcenter Visualization.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter BOM/CAD Management.
- Previous experience in implementing/supporting the Teamcenter solution.
- Multiple years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
- A self-starter with strong communication abilities.
- Willingness and capability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience with PLM systems and data structures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter MFG is a plus.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter SLM/MRO (Service Lifecycle Management/Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) is also beneficial.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification is a plus.

- Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Work Location:
Remote work with occasional travel as necessary.
