Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with tax accounting activities, including reviewing K-1's, preparing and distributing tax forms, and checking fund tax returns for accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Investigate internal and external tax inquiries, handle investor tax queries, and research and review tax-related language in investor side letters.
  • Verify the correct approval and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, reconcile accounts, and address inquiries within a multi-entity framework involving allocations.
  • Conduct research and resolve account payable discrepancies related to agreement terms, market prices, and payment status.
  • Manage spreadsheets, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and continually improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Experience working with K-1's and 1065's
  • Ability to work daily, on-site in our Jupiter office
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Sage Intacct experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
