About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our payroll operations team at Auto-Chlor System.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to lead our payroll operations, contributing to our People First culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with pay rules, and providing timely check processing and accuracy of payroll reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately manage and process all bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, including bonus and commissions, salary adjustments, and ensures compliance with pay rules.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll, review off-cycle payrolls, timely check processing, and accuracy of payroll reports.
  • Handles escalated field queries and resolves issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with HR department for new hire processes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Provides bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Controller and HR.
  • Ensures payroll tax payments are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.
Requirements
  • Proven experience supervising a minimum of three direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to work in office full-time.
  • ADP Workforce Now and E-time experience in a multi-state environment highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply multi-state wage laws.
  • Track record of maintaining a positive and collaborative work atmosphere while imparting a warm customer service approach to all internal employee issues.
  • Excellent communication and discernment skills.
