Job SummaryThis is an excellent opportunity to lead our payroll operations, contributing to our People First culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with pay rules, and providing timely check processing and accuracy of payroll reports.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately manage and process all bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, including bonus and commissions, salary adjustments, and ensures compliance with pay rules.
- Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll, review off-cycle payrolls, timely check processing, and accuracy of payroll reports.
- Handles escalated field queries and resolves issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with HR department for new hire processes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
- Provides bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Controller and HR.
- Ensures payroll tax payments are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Proven experience supervising a minimum of three direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Must be able to work in office full-time.
- ADP Workforce Now and E-time experience in a multi-state environment highly preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to apply multi-state wage laws.
- Track record of maintaining a positive and collaborative work atmosphere while imparting a warm customer service approach to all internal employee issues.
- Excellent communication and discernment skills.
- A competitive salary up to $120,000 annually.
