The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of their assigned shift, ensuring seamless integration, coordination, and tracking of nursing and resident care. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the facility's high standards of care, adhering to state and federal regulations, and upholding the mission, vision, and values of Plymouth Harborside Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and develop effective care plans.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and promote open communication.
- Work closely with other departments to provide timely, effective care that meets individual residents' needs, choices, and preferences.
- Participate in facility-wide nursing committees and assume administrative responsibilities for weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
- Monitor communication between licensed nursing staff and CNAs, participate in shift-to-shift communication, and make rounds to address any issues or concerns.
- Review reports, complete New Pressure Area Reports, and ensure assessments are completed as scheduled.
- Update care plans, notify the DON of incidents, and ensure a discharge planning process is in place.
- Investigate resident/family complaints, take appropriate actions, and maintain confidentiality.
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current licensure by the state board of examiners of nurses. The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and visitors.
Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, and the ability to demonstrate leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skills is required.

This role requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull objects is necessary. Special vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
