Sales Data Analyst

The Sales Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving sales strategy and performance at Intermex. This position is responsible for providing data-driven insights to optimize revenue opportunities by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business growth through data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and patterns around pricing, transaction growth, and market penetration levels that highlight opportunities for company growth.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and the CEO to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain sales execution dashboards against opportunities identified to highlight progress toward strategic milestones.
  • Support the sales team with ad hoc data requests and analysis to drive day-to-day sales operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of sales metrics, reporting, and sales cycle analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
  • High level of curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to work with systems and system owners to access data.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
  • Experience in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
