Job Overview
Prestige Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Account Representative within the healthcare sector for a direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in health insurance, particularly in medical claims processing and follow-up.
This role is remote; however, candidates must reside in Atlanta, GA, as occasional office visits for training and onboarding will be required.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on individual availability.
Compensation is set at $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and necessary equipment will be provided.
Applicants must have a designated quiet workspace at home equipped with high-speed internet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process medical claims for hospitals, clinics, and physicians, including follow-up with insurance providers.
  • A minimum of one year of experience with Meditech and Allscripts is essential; familiarity with EPIC and Cerner is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Effectively communicate with hospital personnel and management, both in writing and verbally.
  • Engage with insurance companies as needed to ascertain the status of claim payments.
  • Experience working with clearinghouses and handling denied claims is required.
  • Gather and provide necessary documentation to clients.
  • Prepare and submit meeting reports to supervisors.
  • Assist and support other teams and staff members as necessary.
  • Offer constructive feedback to management regarding potential improvements.
  • Initiate research and resolution processes for client-raised issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and implement additional value-added services.
  • Maintain and manage spreadsheets, databases, or reports to communicate outcomes and opportunities to management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
