Aquatic Program Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Program Instructor to join our team at Beacon Health System. As an integral member of our aquatics department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to clients of all ages.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

  • Conduct Learn To Swim classes in a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Select suitable lesson plans, analyze client abilities, and offer modifications as needed.
  • Maintain a skilled and able level during class sessions.
  • Pick up pool areas before and after class.
  • Support facility programs, events, and staff in general.

Requirements:

  • Must be 17 years old or older.
  • Requires certification through the American Red Cross (ARC) as a Water Safety Instructor or prior experience with a Learn To Swim program or swim team.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of class management skills, leadership, and communication skills.
